With me, selecting interior and exterior colors is a fun experience!
Do you feel overwhelmed by the idea of choosing paint colors? I'm here to take the time and stress out of the process and make it fun! The color consultation typically takes place on site, and begins with me gathering some initial information to prepare for our conversation and assessment of the project. While I listen to your thoughts and concerns, I also consider factors such as lighting, flooring, tile, and window treatments inside the home.
For exteriors, I consider the roof, stone or brick, substrates, landscaping, orientation, architecture, and neighborhood.
I create on-site color schemes based on our discussion and observations. We’ll refine the options, decide on placement, and I’ll leave you with samples and all the details for you and your painters.
The duration of a paint color consultation can vary, usually ranging from one to over two hours, depending on the project's size and complexity.
Renderings can be provided at an additional cost.
My hourly rate is $175 for interior and exterior consultations.
I do my best work on site, but also offer remote, virtual or online consultations.
Have a project outside of the greater Seattle area? I can help! I also work with out of state clients.
I typically collect payment at the end of our session and accept cash, checks, Venmo, and Zelle as methods of payment. For larger, complex projects I may send an invoice to be paid at your convenience.
Need a painter?- I have longstanding relationships and work with the best in the business. I would be happy to give you a referral.

Actual samples are the best way to see color but some clients may want or need a rendering of the proposed new color for the exterior of their home to:
Visualize the Final Look: A digital rendering can assist some homeowners to see how the new colors will appear on their home before committing to painting. This can reduce the uncertainty and allow them to make a more informed decision.
Assess the Color Compatibility: A digital rendering lets homeowners evaluate how the new color complements existing features like the roof, trim, landscaping and neighboring homes.
Obtain HOA and Community Approvals: For homes in HOA-regulated areas, a visual representation of the proposed change can help with getting approval faster.
Renderings can be helpful but take additional time to complete.
Please let me know in advance if this is something you are interested in!
